Early Life
Yoo Ji Tae (age 47) landed on the earth after his birth at his parents’ home in Seoul, South Korea, on April 13, 1976. We did not get much information about his father, but we learned his mother’s name is Kim Bong-hee. Tae spent most of his life in Seoul, where his single mom raised him while working as a nurse.
When he was a school student, his heart wanted to learn acting, so he joined a local theatre. Alongside, he also learned ramp modeling, and his age was only 19 when he got his first modeling assignment with SFAA. His impressive 6′ 1½” height helped him get more and more modeling jobs.
Although his career started early, he did not forget the importance of education. He completed his schooling in 1994 with flying colors and, after that, attended Chung-Ang University for a bachelor’s degree in Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film.

He frequently appeared on the big screen, and from 2000 to 2008, there were 17 movies in which Ji Tae appeared.
