Tonight’s The Blacklist episode begins three weeks ago, we see a woman, judge Alice Dockery, she is going through some files and she is freaking out and calls detective Patrick Fleming, tells her she has to speak to him right away regarding a case, asks him to go right to her house, she is scared. He arrives there and finds her dead, he lifts the front of her laptop, she was righting something, the name BRUNO.

Red stops by to see Herbie who invited him to see him. He tell him that Holly put clean sheets on the bed for him. Herbie says he needs his advice regarding the murder of Alice Dockery, she was killed after presiding on the case of infamous mob boss Paul Bruno, now spending his golden years in prison. His son, Paul Jr, was arrested the murder and they want Herbie’s help with the forensics. Everyone sees this as an open and shut case to shut down the Bruno family.

Red calls Cooper and tells him he is in town. He mentions the Dockery murder. Red says things that are that obvious, Paul Jr. doing it, are sometimes not that obvious. And, Herbie after going through some forensic evidence, doesn’t think Paul Jr. did it.

Cooper tells the task force to take a quick peek under the hood. He tells them to start with detective Patrick Fleming. Ressler and Siya interview him, he says about Alice being terrified the night she called him, before she was killed. He tells them they go through the case files, they will come to the same conclusion as they did.

Wujing is with Robert Vesco and tells him that he is a fan and believes there is a lot he can learn from them. Vesco says no way. Wujing asks if he knows about Red’s association with the FBI. Vesco says none of his business. Wujing says Red’s relationship is a friends with benefits relationship. Wujing tells him about the task force, whose focus is take down criminals like them with Red’s help and that is why he was arrested. Red is working with the FBI and using them for his and only his gain. That is how he wriggles out of every night. Wujing is assembling a team of criminals who Red has done wrong, and he wants him to be a part of that.

Siya drops by Herbie’s apartment to bring him everything he has wanted to go through for the case.

The task force question many people who may have had a reason to kill judge Dockery, they all have an alibi. Ressler tells Siya that after eleven interviews, that was a bust.

Herbie calls Siya, he says there is something she has to see. She drops over to his apartment, he says judge Dockery could not have typed BRUNO on the laptop, her spinal cord was severed. The cause of death was strangulation. Siya calls Cooper and gives him the information. Someone intentionally put BRUNO’s name to make it look like junior did it.

Ressler goes to visit Paul Bruno Sr. in prison, and tells him they think his son could have been framed. He says he made peace with his rivals, he doesn’t think it is them. Paul says the judge had secrets, she had a lover.

Detective Patrick Fleming gets annoyed when he finds the task force going over Dockery’s office, and they find something. A letter that is threatening, signed by Frederick Moody, a few weeks before she was killed. Fleming says the judge got threats all the time, it means nothing.

Vesco goes to see Red and tells him they need to talk, he had a meeting with a man named Wujing and he had some curious things to say, that Red was working for the feds, giving them up on a silver platter. He told Wujing that he doesn’t buy it, but Wujing is convinced and will not stop until he proves it.

Ressler and Siya go see Frederick Moody, he says he wrote it. Judge Dockery let the man who is responsible, Anton Johnson, for the loss of his daughter walk away. Ressler sees a flower in a frame and asks where they got it, her mother says the it was at her daughter’s apartment. Ressler remembers the same flower in Dockery’s office.

The task force calls Herbie and tells him about the flower, the same that they found at the Dockery murder scene. Herbie says these lollies are weird, they have a unique shimmer, he needs to run some tests but they could come from the same source.

Anton Johnson is showing his home to a woman, she tells him it is magnificent. He tells her it is his fathers, he spent his time in boarding school. Both of his parents are deceased. He pours some drinks for them and toast to stolen moments. She starts to feel faint and before she can fall, he lifts her body up and brings her to the bed. The doorbell rings, it is Ressler and Siya, he lets them in. Siya asks if someone is there with him when she sees two glasses, he says no, they are from last night.

Ressler asks him about Moody, he says he savagely attacked him after the trial. Ressler looks out the window and sees flowers, the same ones that were given to Herbie. Anton makes a slip and calls Dockery, Ali. Siya picks up on it and Anton admits that he was having an affair with Dockery. Then, Siya hears a noise, she turns to Anton and says she thought he was alone. Meanwhile, Ressler gets a call and it is Herbie, flowers with a shimmer like that are going on or near human remains.

In the house, Siya goes into a room and sees the woman on the bed waking up, she pulls her gun but gets distracted and Anton kicks it out of her and but when he goes to flee, Ressler is there and Anton doesn’t get away.

Back at the bureau, Ressler and Siya are speaking to Anton and telling him they are digging up the flower bed and so far three bodies, one is the Moody’s daughter and one is his mother. Anton says he didn’t kill Ali, she was different, he was his cure, his salvation, his person. He ends up saying he had no choice but to kill Ali. She was at his place and she got a call while she was in the bedroom alone, she reached into the drawer to get a pen and found a necklace that Moody’s daughter had on when she went missing. At the point there was nothing else he could do, he had to kill her. Even at the end, he could see it in her eyes, she loved him. He took her bloodied finger and typed BRUNO on the laptop.

Vesco goes to see Wujing and says Red confessed that he is working with the FBI, when he pressed him for the tru
