After more than 15 years at the top of his game, the current Academy of Country Music ‘Artist of the Decade’ Jason Aldean has officially announced details of his ninth studio album. The record aptly titled ‘9’ will be dropping on November 22nd and is available to pre-order now. Fans who pre-order the LP ahead of its release next month will gain instant access to four brand new songs off the tracklist.
Speaking about the CD, Jason Aldean says: “Early on I always thought if we ever got to make nine albums, I’m going to call it ‘9.’ It was my baseball number growing up, and it’s just kind of always been my lucky number. I remember cutting the first album and thinking ‘that’s forever away,’ and now here we are. I don’t know, it’s really special we made it this far – so, it’s more for me than anybody else – but, it means a lot.”
A dominant force on the American charts, Aldean has scored a hugely impressive 23 Number One Country singles. He is also the only Country act in history to top the all-genre Billboard 200 four times (in a row, no less), racking up 14.4 billion streams and more than 18 million albums sales in the process.
The full ‘9’ album tracklist is as follows:
