Bill Burr is an American stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He co-founded the All Things Comedy network, and has hosted the Monday Morning Podcast. His roles include the shows Breaking Bad, Kroll Show, F Is for Family, The Comedy Store, and Immoral Compass, and the films Date Night, Stand Up Guys, The Heat, Zombeavers, Walk of Shame, Black or White, Daddy’s Home, and its sequel; The Front Runner, The King of Staten Island, The Opening Act, and Dog.
He is the son of Linda, a nurse, and Robert Burr, a dentist. He is married to Nia Hill, with whom he has two children. Nia is African-American.
Bill’s maternal grandfather was Philip/Phillip A. Wigent (the son of Warren Ralph Wigent and Myrtie/Myrta Belle Eisaman). Philip was born in Indiana. Warren was the son of John C. Wigent and Ida May Spore. Myrtie was the daughter of Nicholas/Nicolas R. Eisaman and Delilah Hosack.
Bill’s maternal grandmother was Mary Lucille Taylor (the daughter of John Marshall Taylor and Catherine/Catharine “Katie”/Kate Wolford/Wolfard). Mary was born in Whitley County, Indiana. John was the son of Henry Howard Taylor and Melvina Elizabeth Mossman. Catherine was the daughter of Frederick Wolfard/Wolford, who was born in France, of German descent, and of Catherine/Catharine Gross, whose parents were also German.
