Balthazar Getty and his wife Rosetta were spotted yesterday taking a seemingly friendly, romantic little stroll in the Hollywood Hills. This has started the rumor mill going that Rosetta has taken Balthy back, after more than a year of an on-and-off affair with Sienna Miller. Balthy and Rosetta never formally filed for divorce, and there wasn’t even a thread of legitimacy to their separation. They have four children together, but the kids weren’t on the romantic hike:
Balthazar Getty has fuelled rumours he has reconciled with his estranged wife Rosetta Millington after the pair enjoyed a hike together. The Brothers & Sisters actor, 34, and his wife of nine years were all smiles as they chatted and joked while exercising in the Hollywood Hills.
Their outing comes exactly a year after Getty revealed they were separated just days after he was photographed kissing a topless Sienna Miller on a boat in Italy.
Their energetic stroll is the first time they have been spotted together since their split without their four children Cassius, Paul, Violet and Catherine.
After their hike, the couple returned together to their martial home in Beverly Hills, where the fashion designer has continued to live since their split.
Despite being separated for a year, the Gettys are yet to file for divorce.
As the Gettys are spending time together, Miller has been travelling the world on a gruelling promotional tour for her new film G.I. Joe.
Getty and his 31-year-old wife’s friendly appearance will no doubt fuels rumours they have reconciled after a difficult year for the couple. After billionaire Getty’s relationship with Miller, 27, was outed in the press last summer, the couple have enjoyed a controversial on/off romance.
Miller received a barrage of negative press as she was portrayed as ‘the other woman’ and her north London home was vandalised with the word ‘slut’ last August.
In an interview with Vogue published last month, the Alfie actress claimed she had ended the relationship after seeking advice from a close friend. She said: ‘I got to the point where I was doing things that I didn’t necessarily think I was capable of as a person. And I wanted to be conscious of my actions. I think I was really naive and trusting, and thinking that if you are true to yourself, that’s enough, that’s the best way to be. But actually, it’s important to become more conscious.’
But a short time later, Miller and Getty were photographed holidaying with the actor’s mother Gisela in Positano, Italy just six weeks ago.
But following recent statements made by Miller on G.I. Joe press junkets, the status of her relationship with Getty is currently unclear.
The actress lost her temper with Australian radio DJ Adam Richard when he questioned her about her lovelife.
She said: ‘We are not here to talk about him (Getty). But, yes, I know him and everything’s good, thank you. What a scoop. Congratulations. You’re really, really clever.’
In another interview, Miller claimed she was ‘too busy’ for romance.
She said: ‘Honestly I don’t have time for those type of things. But I do agree that summer is an ideal time to fall in love. Lately I’m non-stop and really working a lot, so I don’t have time for doing romantic things. But it’s Ok for now, I really don’t mind.’

Do you believe Balthy and Rosetta are back together? I kind of admire Rosetta’s fight on this one. At first I sort of believed Rosetta should just get it over with, file for divorce and just acknowledge that Balthy is a douche and she would be better off without him. But I think by not giving Balthy a divorce, Rosetta has been playing a sympathetic game with her image, and making sure that Sienna comes off really, really badly. Plus, it must grate on Sienna’s nerves whenever she sees pics of her boyfriend with his wife.
All of that being said, I don’t think Rosetta and Balthy are back together. I think Sienna’s on her G.I. Joe promotional tour and she needs to look like a single girl rather than The Mistress. That’s why she gave that self-pitying sob story to Vogue, about how she was “naïve and trusting”, and why she told a radio host to “piss off” when he asked about Balthy. But she just can’t quit Balthy, for whatever reason. My guess is that as soon as her promotional tour is over, we’ll be seeing yet another topless vacation for Balthy and Sienna.
